David S. Mallia Sales Executive Mr. Mallia joined Technical Risks, Inc. (a subsidiary of Brown & Brown of Texas, Inc.) in 2001 as an Account Associate and was promoted to Sales Executive at Brown & Brown of Texas, Inc. in 2005. Previously, he was an executive with Allstate Insurance where he developed his insurance expertise across a broad spectrum of divergent industries.
Currently, Mr. Mallia’s clients include companies involved in the energy sector including oil & gas production, those manufacturing products or providing services to companies in the energy field. Within his diverse client portfolio he handles companies in the food service, restaurant supply, service, wholesale and retail sectors. In addition, Mr. Mallia’s clients include several educational institutions, private schools and non-profit enterprises. A 1999 graduate of the University of Texas where he earned a degree in government and political science, Mr. Mallia has been a licensed Group Health, Benefits, Accident, and Life insurance broker since 1999 and a licensed Commercial and Personal Lines Property / Casualty broker since 2000. In 2005, he was recognized as one of the highest performing insurance executives within Brown & Brown. His interests include volunteer work for the Post Oak Pony League, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Houston Livestock and Rodeo.
