Beginning her insurance career in 1990, Ms. Howell has more than 17 years experience in creatively structuring group health insurance and employee benefits plans that save our clients time and money. Her considerable talents allow her and the staff she leads to lower premiums and improve the customer service of insurance companies, adding significant value to our customers. Named a Vice President of Brown & Brown in 2002 and Senior Vice President in 2007, Ms. Howell has served as Manager of our Employee Benefits Department since 1999. In this capacity, she manages the department's professionals in the marketing and superior servicing of our clients. Our customers have consistently ranked the service provided by Ms. Howell's group as "excellent" in industry customer satisfaction surveys conducted in each of the past five years. She has been a licensed Life / Health and Group Employee Benefits broker since 1990 and Property / Casualty broker since 2006. 

Primarily focusing on employer groups with 50 or more employees, she and her team bring significant added value to our clients by serving as their (de-facto) in-house HR Benefits Department, allowing our clients to focus on their own business and less upon the service issues their employees may have with company benefit programs. As one of the largest Group Employee Benefits brokers in the country, Ms. Howell skillfully uses Brown & Brown's considerable market clout and leverage with most insurance companies to provide our clients with unique and competitive alternatives simply not available to most other agents or brokers.
