Jason Esparza
Sales Executive  Specializing in the construction and contracting industry classes since 2002, Mr. Esparza developed his expertise as an underwriter, wholesale broker and retail insurance agent with Houston, Texas based Myron F. Steves Co. & Mid-Continent General Agency before joining Brown & Brown as a Sales Executive in 2007.
His experience includes his adeptly negotiating and placing bid and performance bonds as well as successfully marketing and placing miscellaneous surety bonds for his construction clients. In addition, Mr. Esparza’s background includes his handling professional and general liability coverage for accounts in the medical and allied healthcare fields. A sports enthusiast with a wide area of talents and interests, he is a karate black belt and won the title of Black Belt Competitor of the Year in 1994. While at the University of Houston where he earned a scholarship in engineering, he was also a member of the university cycling team. He is nationally ranked swing dancer, instructor and musician. Mr. Esparza is a licensed Property / Casualty Commercial Lines, Surety Bond, Group Health & Benefits and Personal Lines insurance broker.
